Soil

The soil of the area is made of hard limestone, mainly of heavy mechanical texture, hard, with stones. Vineyards have quite significant inclination and southern exposure which helps in better ripening of varieties.

Climate

The temperature in August and September is 19-20 ° C, which is appropriate for cultivation of red varieties, while it’s slightly lower in September. Sufficient moisture during the growing season and winds help the plants to grow smoothly.

Grapes

The grapes used for the production of our wines come exclusively from our own organic vineyards located at the region of Siatista.

Harvest takes place in September and October.

Solar

The solar radiation of the area is suitable for viticulture. Climate indicators, the most important Huglin, solar thermal index as well as the Winkler days, yield favorable results for smooth plant growth.

Vineyard

The vineyard of Siatista is, due to altitude ranging between 680 and 850 meters, one of the coolest areas in northern Greece, in which the traditional way of cultivation has been maintained to this day.

Winery

The winery is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for the processing, bottling and packaging of wine and is carried out under international standards.
